Black Ops 6 in the Call of Duty series is set to be a massive game, requiring a whopping 300 gigabytes of storage space.
The Xbox store listed the game at around 309.85 GB, but it is unclear how much space will be needed for the PlayStation and Xbox versions.
Activision has stated that the game utilizes "texture streaming" across all modes, requiring an active internet connection even in single player mode.
It is unclear what is included in this large file size, but the game will feature a campaign, multiplayer, and a new zombie mode, with the possibility of Warzone being included as well.
PC players have had the option to customize their Call of Duty installations since 2020, allowing them to choose which modes and content to include to save space on their hard drives and SSDs.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25th for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Activision recently showcased the game in a 30-minute video presentation, giving players a taste of what to expect from the upcoming release.
