  • Andreas Poppe and electrician Martin Ludvigsen are excited about opening a parking house with 144 charging points, converting the entire capacity for electric car charging.
  • Poppe, who bought the parking house fifteen years ago, aims to make it future-proof and commercially viable.
  • The parking house will offer free charging for electric cars, with those using superchargers paying half of the parking fee.
  • Poppe collaborated with Tesla to set up a new transformer station, including fast chargers and destination chargers.
  • Oslo municipality’s Councilor for Environment and Transport, Marit Vea, praises Poppe’s initiative and launches a subsidy program to encourage private actors to establish charging points.
  • Aimo Park, a parking operator, supports the subsidy program and plans to expand charging points in their facilities within Ring 2.
