Jetflicks, an illegal streaming service in the US, is facing tough times as the owner and others involved risk years in prison.
The site offered a larger catalog of pirated movies and TV shows than popular services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Vudu combined.
The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) cracked down on Jetflicks in 2012, with the FBI getting involved.
The owner could face up to 48 years in prison, while others involved could face up to five years.
The operation earned hundreds of thousands of dollars annually before being shut down.
The FBI conducted an undercover operation, paying for a six-month subscription and discovering illegally uploaded shows like Shameless and Ray Donovan.
Sentencing for those involved has not yet been scheduled.
