Biden: Demokratiet står i fare – en tilbake til 1945-nivåer

Biden warned that democracy is in greater danger worldwide than at any time since the end of World War II.
He made the statement in the French village of Colleville-sur-Mer, near Omaha Beach where American soldiers landed on D-Day, June 6, 1944.
Over 150,000 Allied soldiers landed in Normandy to begin the liberation of Nazi-occupied Europe.
Biden emphasized that isolationism was not the answer 80 years ago and is not the answer today.
He stressed the importance of strong alliances, citing the example of the Allies working together during World War II.
Biden called NATO the best military alliance in history.
The president assured that the US will not abandon Ukraine, as doing so could lead to the suppression of the country and threaten all of Europe.
